Tell us what design means to you and where you find inspiration?

Design is about expressing one’s personality and unleashing creativity- it’s an art form and an extension of myself! My inspiration comes from travel, textures, materials, and fabulous people…

Can you tell us a little about your background and what you are doing now?

I’m in Philly with my team and co-founder, Lexi Barbuto, at Natural Products Expo East launching our new, non alcoholic beverage, Soirée!

Congrats! Tell us more about your new mocktail line, Soirée
Soirée is a new, non alcoholic beverage, made specifically for you to sip or spike! I’m on a TV show where people drink- I do NOT! My co-founder, Lexi, also drinks- I wanted to be part of the party too. Soirée is the perfect solution to being part of the party, without having to drink- or order an iced tea! With only 45 calories a can, only real cane sugar, Soirée is vegan, kosher, and #GoodCleanFun!

Having spent a few days with us in Philadelphia, tell us about your ideal weekend here;

what’s not to miss?
What’s not to love about Philadelphia- it’s historic, stylish, and filled with the most amazing people. I enjoyed the amazing restaurants (Frame in Old City, Parc in Rittenhouse) and got some design inspiration! The people are kind in Philadelphia- the City of Brotherly Love!

Tell us about your experience staying at The DWIGHT D Hotel from the perspective of a tastemaker who’s traveled extensively?

To really escape, I love to travel to Europe, but with my crazy schedule that’s easier said than done. As soon as you walk through the door of The DWIGHT D Hotel, you are instantly transported to chic, European staycation, and away from the business! Not only is The DWIGHT D unbelievably fabulous, the attention to detail is second to none. Everything we could have wanted or needed was right there waiting for us. In the heart of Rittenhouse Square (my favorite neighborhood in Philly), the DWIGHT D is close to all the fabulous fashion, restaurants, and people Philly has to offer. Ken and Vittoria are simply the best!
